Computer Angel is based in London and is run by Ian Butler.
Ian has been involved in the support of computer systems for over 12 years, both in the UK and in the US. He has worked in the New Media sector since the early days of the public internet, creating and managing the technologies for companies such as BSkyB, Chello Broadband and AOL.
During the height of the DotCom boom he was Technical Director for Sportal, where he helped run the Euro2000 Football website, one of the largest single-event sites in the world.
His stated aim in setting up Computer Angel is to provide an accessible and friendly service for non-technical people, solving your computer problems while providing support and advice in an impartial manner. He promises never to use baffling technical jargon when a simple concise answer will suffice.
